Mother’s Day looks a lot different depending on what stage you’re in. 💛

Some of you are deep in diapers and survival mode.
Some are raising teenagers and wondering why there are 47 water glasses in the bedroom.
Some are navigating adulthood with kids who don’t need you the same way anymore… which somehow hurts a little even when it’s exactly what you raised them to do.

Some are single moms doing the work of two people.

Some are stepmoms — loving kids they didn’t give birth to, showing up over and over again, often without the credit or appreciation they deserve, simply because they chose to love them anyway.

And yes, pet moms count too. If you’ve ever scheduled your entire day around a creature who licks the floor and stares at you while you eat, you’re in the club. 😂

Motherhood is exhausting and beautiful and lonely and funny all at once. It’s being needed constantly… and then one day realizing the roles are changing and your house is quieter than you expected.

So today feels like a good day to say: whatever version of “mom” you are — and whatever stage you’re in — you matter more than you probably realize. 💐

After going contingent for a long time with previous buyers, coming back on market, and navigating a few bumps and surprises along the way, this Ellensburg home officially closed today. 🎉

So happy for my sellers, who can finally move forward with the next chapter of their lives — and for the new buyers, who are getting an amazing home with a huge backyard and plenty of space to make their own memories. Sometimes real estate is smooth… and sometimes it’s a whole character-building experience. This one was worth hanging in there for. 🏡

So excited for the buyers, who absolutely fell in love with the idea of living right next to the Burke-Gilman Trail and all the lifestyle that comes with it. And a huge thank you to our sellers, who poured so much care into this home over the years — from the thoughtful upgrades to the incredible preparation before hitting the market. It truly showed.
