Although a bit old and quirky, we’re taking a fresh outlook on things. We were founded in 1964, just after the Seattle World’s Fair, where Elvis gave one of our founder’s a bite of his hot dog! As a small, local company, we take pride in offering a smattering of old-school style apartments as well as a few newer ones. Our apartments range in size from about 10 to 30 units, helping create a sense of community often not found at much larger properties. Additionally, these smaller buildings offer more spacious floor plans for the price point, and most of our units come with your own, private deck or patio, perfect for starting that container garden. Plus, we offer available parking for your weekend adventure vehicle. But you don’t have to be tied to your car…walk, ride, or bike to work with a network of bike lanes and transit options. Seattle is defined by its neighborhoods. Much like our buildings, these neighborhoods each have their own character and identity. At Hive, we’re proud to offer apartments in some of the most popular locations in the city. Many of our apartments have some of the highest walk scores in Seattle. Park your car at the end of the day and explore your neighborhood markets, restaurants, and watering holes on foot. We’re happy to point out our favorite neighborhood hangouts! Add in close proximity to Green Lake’s 3-mile loop, and we’ve got you covered. Essentially Seattle’s own version of Central Park, this urban oasis includes tennis courts, golf, a swimming pool, playground and wading pool, two popular swimming beaches, paddle boats, rowing center, paddleboarding, windsurfing, basketball courts, soccer and softball fields.
