Full-Time Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a full-time, motivated, positive, reliable, and punctual maintenance technician. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have the following skills:
-Basic skills to perform garbage dump runs
-Perform and complete work orders in tenants’ units
-Painting: interior & exterior
-Must be able to lift 70 lbs
You must be able to multi-task and relate well with tenants, vendors, and staff.

Primary Job Functions include the following:
• Provide support and backup for upper management and owners
• Serving as the first point of contact for walk-ins
• Maintaining office cleanliness
• Answering a multi-line phone system
• Keeping a supply inventory
• Overseeing maintenance on copiers, printers, etc.
• Data entry/process paperwork (scanning, copying, filing, etc.)
• Taking "ownership" of your office space

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
• Attention to detail, the ability to take initiative and work independently
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication (verbal and written)
• 1-3 years of experience working in an administrative position desired
• TEAM PLAYER

Our property management company is seeking a reliable apartment resident manager(s) for a beautiful, vintage building on lower Queen Anne. This building has 51 units and requires constant attention and maintenance. This position requires the person(s) to live on-site.

It is imperative that applicants have knowledge of basic maintenance and repairs. There are many work orders that come in that need to be fulfilled in a correct and diligent manner.

Other duties include, but are not limited to:
-Collecting rent
-Common area cleaning
-Apartment clean-up & maintenance
-Coordinating and scheduling work with vendors and tenants, and communicating with the main office
-Knowledge of basic maintenance and repairs are also required

Must be flexible and have excellent people skills. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and overall computer processes. Excellent leasing skills and good phone etiquette are required.

Sorry, we have a strict no-pets policy. This building does not offer parking. Only street parking available. Laundry facilities on-site. Manager pays for all utilities.

The manager's unit is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment with a unique layout. Salary is a percentage of the building's gross income + an additional hourly wage for work done outside of the Manager's contract. Target start date is approximately January 15th, 2019.
