Safe To Be believes that everyone deserves a safe place to call home and helps provide emergency, transitional, and permanent housing to romantic and gender diverse folks in NW Arkansas. I’ve never been on THIS side of real estate and I’m hooked! It was rewarding as well as educational. I also now need my own nail gun! This sweet little house had energy from day one. Tons of interest, strong showings, and it ultimately sold over asking.

Even better? These sellers have already closed on their new home (yes, the same rockstar clients from my last post). We lined up both sides of the move so they could step forward without stress or scrambling. Strategy matters. Timing matters. Ex*****on matters.

I’m so proud of how this one came together — and so happy for my clients as they settle into their next chapter.

Simultaneous closes are like synchronized swimming… except with wire transfers, possession dates, and everyone trying not to drown. 😅

Yesterday my clients sold their home and closed on their new one shortly after — same day, same crew, zero margin for chaos. These back-to-back transactions are logistically tricky. Funds have to land at just the right time. Escrow has to be perfectly aligned. Lenders have to hit their marks. Agents have to communicate like air traffic control.

And when it works? It’s magic.

Huge gratitude to the lenders, escrow teams, and fellow agents who coordinated beautifully to make this happen. No egos. No dropped balls. Just professionals doing what they said they’d do.

The best part? My clients sent me a video of them taking turns carrying each other across the threshold of their new home. Equal parts romance and upper-body strength. Iconic behavior.

This is why I love what I do. Strategy, precision, and then… joy.

Happy 15 Year Meet-Aversary to my love 😍 15 years ago today Crys was bartending at Neighbours after a bit of a hiatus. I had noticed her bartending before and loved her smile. When she was back behind the bar I did something out of character and wrote my number on my bar tab. She called me the next day and the rest is history! We’ve been through a lot (lots of good and not some not so good) and we keep evolving together. Simply put, there’s no one I’d rather do life with. Here’s to the next 15 years! 🥂(only now we cheers with AF champagne! 🍾)

Four days on market and we ended up with multiple offers in our first weekend. So thrilled for my Sellers who are contingent on another home - they’re sad to leave this sweet house, but excited for more space for their family.
