I know it sounds a little crazy, but I love those moments in a home search when it feels like we’ve hit a wall—because that’s when the breakthrough happens. On Wednesday, we toured one last home before my clients said a little upset, “Maybe we should just go with the townhomes. It’s not perfect, but it’ll do.”
I smiled and told them, “Go home. I’ll find something. I can feel this is an important moment for us.”
Then I went home, looked through the same listings again, and found this pre-sale site. We asked for the highest credits we’ve ever requested—and the seller accepted! Every other home told us no for far less.
I always say, we look for the home that’s meant to be yours, and we gotta trust the timing of everything.

Congratulations to my buyers for winning a huge deal on this home in one of a kind location, 1 block away from downtown Kirkland’s waterfront. It took weeks to finalize our negotiations as getting $200,000 off the purchase price is no easy job😅, but I’m proud we got it done!
