The sun is scorching, but cranking the AC isn't an option? No worries, Seattleites! Here are some tips to keep your house and furry friends cool during this heatwave:

Cool Down Your Place:
🪟 Close blinds and curtains on sun-facing windows during the day. Darker colors work best!
Crack open windows at night for fresh, cooler air (but close them during the day!).
️Consider temporary window shades like awnings or blackout curtains for extra heat blocking power.

Cool Down the Air:
Fill a bowl with ice and place it in front of a fan for a DIY air conditioner.
Spritz yourself with cool water for a refreshing cooldown.
