As 2021 winds to a close I’m struck with the resilience of the human community and how despite the challenges, we have continued to find ways to stay connected with each other. I’m still optimistic that we will come out at the other end of this Pandemic wiser and more caring for each other. I know it’s difficult to imagine but I believe I must in order to keep my sanity.
I’m fortunate to have been a party to the transitions that people have in their lives with Real Estate transactions. Sometimes they are challenging due to the human complexities that have been created, and sometimes they are pure joy as families grow and embrace new lives into them. As some of you know I have become a knitter and the repetition of knitting one stitch after another and watching a project take shape is so much like the possibilities in creating new scenarios in our lives.
Yuvol Noah Harari wrote “people are usually afraid of change because they fear the unknown. But the single greatest constant in history is that everything changes”: Being a little older I believe, makes it easier to see that fact, as so many things have become obsolete in my lifetime and I’m still loving so much of the world around me and the wonderful people that I interact with.
I’m so very grateful for the people I have done transactions with this year and in past years who have allowed me to be part of those transitions. It’s always a huge blessing to also get to know you better and that is what life is really all about. Many of my friends came to me from my Real Estate business. Thank you for that. With family and extended family, neighbors, my knitting group friends, past work friends and miscellaneous acquaintances, that circle of connection is what keeps me going.
