Please do not place any type of tangler (holiday lights, ropes, watering hoses, or anything with long strands) into your recycling bin.

When these get stuck in our machines, it slows down our recycling process while someone needs to remove the item. They can also damage the machine and potentially harm the person removing them. Please dispose of holiday lights as e-waste or take them to a scrap metal recycler and place all other tanglers in your landfill bin for proper disposal. Thank you!

This article made me chuckle. I had no idea that Egg Nog was disliked by so many people. You hear folks compaining about green bean casserole and fruit cake, but I didn't know that in some places potato salad was a tradition as well.

We are so proud of the Maple Leaf Foundation. We currently have four houses with families whose children are receiving treatment at Seattle Children's Hospital.
