Once upon a time, a brave young couple set out on a quest into the mysterious land of homeownership. Their mission? To find a home in a bike-friendly neighborhood, with space to grow—and most importantly—room to welcome visiting loved ones.

Thanks to the mighty powers of Reddit, we were chosen as their fearless guides to help them take on this momentous chapter. But, as all great quests go, obstacles awaited: lackluster summer inventory, creeping doubts, and the eternal question—“Will we ever find the one?”

Armed with experience and market know-how, we offered a prophecy: “Patience. After Labor Day, better homes shall rise.”
And so it came to pass. A dream home appeared, a fierce bidding battle broke out, and with steadfast determination (and stellar offer terms), they emerged victorious in what will now be known as The 2025 Triumph of Hawthorne Hills.

Townhouse listings are a bit trickier than single family home listings these days, especially with so much new construction to compete with. Therefore, we knew we needed to be very careful with how to market this swanky Central Area townhouse to avoid long market times and a reduction in price down the line. With a few small cosmetic tweaks, we were able to secure a serious buyer in just FOUR DAYS despite slow showing traffic for townhome listings!
