A few weeks late posting but this one is worth sharing a quick story. Right now I hear “ I’m never going to be able to move” “ I’m never leaving this interest rate” “ I’m stuck in this house forever “

Let me share my experience. We had an interest rate under 3%! We just sold this home and purchased a new one and our monthly costs did not go up!

Leverage your equity!!! Use your equity to put a large down payment. Pay off debts like cars, student loans, credit cards with high interest rates. This will help free up monthly costs to make up for a larger mortgage payment. We used our equity, paid off our car, put a large down payment on our new home, and did a one year rate buy down ( we will refinance when they go down next year) to keep our monthly expenses the same even with a rate that was double what we had.

I’m here to tell you, you are not stuck! Don’t fall for the scare tactic’s. You have options!
