Katy Roberts Collective "A thoughtful approach to Real Estate"

Real Estate Advisor, Mom, Wife, Traveler, Explorer, Friend, Daughter, and all around dork.

I have a knack transforming houses into homes, people into friends, and friends into family! My passion for real estate is rooted in my connection with people. Whether you are searching for your first home, new to the area, looking for a home to raise a family, an empty-nester downsizing, or you need to sell a loved one's home, I will be dedicated, trustworthy, and tenacious on your behalf. With p

ersonal experience with each of these scenarios, I offer perspective and empathy to find solutions. For Buyers
I have a creative eye for envisioning the flow, livability, and how a space will work for my clients. I'm able to step into your shoes and see a home through your eyes. I often "translate" what my clients are feeling into words. I'll guide you through a notoriously challenging process and smooth out the bumps each step of the way. With me you're not just getting market data, I'll tell you a story that goes beyond the headline to give you a clear understanding of how to best approach your home buying experience. By leveraging my relationship building abilities, I will help you craft a winning offer. For Sellers
I use the strategies above to envision the potential buyers' needs and leverage your home's unique characteristics to "hook" buyers, creating that feeling of home that is often difficult to put into words. I work with Compass because the programs they offer eliminate the typical obstacles many sellers face. My clients choose to work with me because of my industry and market knowledge; they return because of the stress-free and seamless experience. Over the years I've had the privilege of serving them and their closest friends and family time and again. About Me
I grew up in CA and moved to Seattle in 2006. I quickly nestled into the Ballard neighborhood where I enjoy building community. You'll find me at the park with my kids, farmer's markets, hosting Block Parties, Play Streets, and family events, hiking the trails, and enjoying local breweries and wineries. I regularly volunteer with PEPS (Program Early Parent Support) and have found a passion connecting new parents during their "infancy" of parenthood. I love to travel, and given how small this world is, we may even bump into each other at an airport abroad!

There’s something extra special about this SOLD sign. 🥹🏡

It’s the first one Elsa gets to hang in Seattle since I moved to San Luis Obispo and I kind of love everything it represents.

Real estate has always been a team sport for us. We trust each other. We trust our team. And, most importantly, our clients trust us and the strategy we build together, whether I’m down the street, across town, or a couple states away.

I feel incredibly lucky that technology + a really solid team allow me to keep doing the work I love in Seattle, even when I’m not physically there for every moment.

And seeing my sign go up? It feels a little like leaving my mark in a city I love, even from afar. ❤️

Here’s to the first of many. And to Elsa doing the actual sign-hanging while I cheer our clients and her on from California. 😂

This is the kind of house that makes you want to stay a little longer.

At the edge of the forest and just blocks from downtown Roslyn, you’re close to trails, restaurants, coffee, live music, and mountain views.

There’s a sunny deck, a hot tub tucked into the pines, a main-floor primary, and a separate lower level with its own kitchen and entrance.

I think buying a home is one of those things where it’s okay to feel excited and nervous at the same time.

It’s a big decision. And sometimes that little bit of fear isn’t a sign that you’re making the wrong choice. It’s just a sign that the choice matters.

That’s why I think there’s a lot of value in slowing down and giving yourself a little room to figure out what you really feel. ❤️

Such a fun farewell block party. ❤️

Our invite strategy was questionable at best, but somehow about 150 people showed up.

Tacos, margaritas, remote control car races, old neighbors, new memories, and a framed Dick’s photo. 😂

The best part wasn’t the party. It was the people.

Because home isn’t the walls. It’s the life that happens inside and around them. ❤️

One thing I’ll never stop appreciating about living in the Seattle area is our ferry system. ⛴️

Every time I drive onto a ferry, it still feels a little exciting.

The views, the cutest dogs onboard, and the random conversations with strangers... it’s all part of the experience.

What’s your favorite Washington ferry route? 🤍

It’s so fun when you stumble upon an authentic circus. 🎪

This one felt approachable, nostalgic, and full of heart. The best part? The performers looked like they were having just as much fun as the audience.

If you get the chance, put Shoestring Circus on your list. I think they’re based out of Bellingham, and they’re absolutely worth seeing.

Have you ever been to a circus like this?

Well… we have some big news. 🤍

Our family is headed to San Luis Obispo for a new adventure! Brad will be teaching at Cal Poly, and we’re incredibly excited for this next chapter together.

One of my first thoughts was, “What about my clients?”

Then I realized something. The most important part of what I do has never been tied to a physical location. It’s the relationships I build, the strategy behind every transaction, and being there for my clients every step of the way.

So while our home base is changing for a season, my commitment to serving buyers and sellers in the Seattle area isn’t.

I’ll be back and forth regularly, and I’ll still be just a phone call, text, or email away.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our family and this business over the years. I can’t wait to share this new adventure with you. 🤍
