This is about more than real estate. It is about your life and your dreams. Business History/Experience/philosophy-
Following a successful career in real estate sales/marketing and publishing, I started in at RE/Max NW in 2005 and moved to Keller Williams Realty in 2007. Keller Williams' culture of continuous learning and community involvement are important to me as a business person, and as a me
mber of my community. I believe we all have a responsibility to each other in our communities, neighborhoods, families, and work, to always strive to give the best of our energies and efforts to everything we undertake. From Keller Williams RED (Renew, Energize, Donate) Day of community giving, every May, to our open book business philosophy, this company provides a platform unrivaled in the industry, and is a great example of business doing good. Our partners in life and business are critical to our success, and I am proud to be a member of this fine organization. Personal bio-
Born in Seattle, my family moved to Alaska the fall after I completed kindergarten. I was raised in Alaska, and worked through high school and college in the fishing industry. I spent some time early on working in shore-based canneries processing mostly salmon. In the summer of my Junior year of high school (1979), I first stepped on a commercial gillnetter, and spent that season on the Kenai River in Cook Inlet, fishing with a family friend school teacher and his wife on their small 32' fiberglass boat. The following years were spent fishing for Salmon and Halibut in Cook Inlet, Kodiak Island, and Bristol Bay, on a variety of boats. My fishing career ended in the spring of 1989 with a trip from Seattle up the Inside Passage, through the Exxon Valdez oil spill, on a brand new 42' LeClerq seiner dubbed 'Too Late', the week after Captain Hazelwood made his wrong turn. We made the herring opening at Togiak Bay that spring, and then returned to Kodiak to wait for word on our salmon season, as tar balls rolled up from Prince William Sound. That season never happened, I returned to Seattle, and have only been to Alaska since to visit family. My life in the Northwest centers around outdoor activities with friends and family. When I'm not working, I enjoy crewing races on local sailboats, fly-fishing our many high lakes and streams, snowboarding in the winter, backpacking, and photography. I love the Northwest, and live for the those glorious days when 'the mountain is out', and we all rush outdoors to worship another of the sun goddess's radiant showings. A proud father to an 11-year old archer and horse lover, many of my weekends are now spent supporting her showing and shooting events. My Current Certifications:
