We created Sound Bites as a way to showcase local businesses and neighborhoods in a way that's authentic to who I am. Food. Like most people, I enjoy food 🙃. When you move in to your new home, regardless of who helped you get into it (I'd love to), it can be difficult to cook every night so follow along as we take you to various hot spots around the area that you should definitely add to your rotation. Make sure you get the nachos because they're some of the best in the NATION.

I met Tobi and her partner last year, and after selling their home she needed to find a new place to call home. The market had shifted, fewer homes were coming on the market and rates had gone up. We actually found two homes and we’re under contract twice until we found issues with the inspections. Thankfully, the market was accommodating and we were able to be patient and wait until after the holidays. The latest stats are out and more than ever it’s important to drill down into the data. Although inventory was up from this time a year ago, it’s still only about 0.7 months of supply (about 3 weeks), down dramatically from the January number of 2.5. Why is this an important number? Because it’s all about supply and demand, and our area typically doesn’t has enough supply. Even with the interest rate increase causing a slow down, the demand is still higher than the number of homes available. Sellers: ignore the headlines about it not being a good time to sell—meet with your experienced broker to create a strategy that will have you positioned well with presentation and pricing in your area. Buyers: make sure you understand your purchasing power. Work with a great lender and experienced agent with a stellar reputation. Multiple offers are back in some areas and you need to be able to compete.
