Today my very first friend in my life passed away. The type of friend that you grow up with and have years of stories to reflect on, like a reel of your childhood. Elizabeth was one of those friends that I might not talk to for awhile but when we did, we could talk for hours. I believe I became an animal lover because of her. Elizabeth was kind, generous, witty, funny, intelligent and opinionated. The last time we saw each other we were at Green Lake, we spent four hours together from our cars. At that time it was difficult for her to walk, so we didn’t. Tonight I drove by Green Lake and caught this beautiful sunset. I feel so lucky to have so many fond memories of my forever friend. ❤️

Thank you to Windermere Foundation for the generous donation to support Outreach Saturday founded by George and Terri, my forever friends and a past client. I met George at one of my open houses 20+ years ago. Over the past 5 years twice a month George & Terri prepare 70-100 sandwich meals on Friday evenings and then distribute these meals and extra hygiene items to those that need a free meal in South Seattle and Downtown Seattle. They take the time to listen and care. So far, over 7000 meals have been delivered. I am humbled by the actions by George & Terri over the years, they are such genuine and caring people. Thank you Windermere Foundation for helping them continue their mission to help others.
