This one was all about strong negotiation and advocacy for our clients. Our buyers saw the potential in this home, and we went to work negotiating firmly on their behalf — securing a significant price reduction, additional builder work to be completed before closing, and a major improvement to the builder warranty.

The home had been on the market for several months, and we recognized an opportunity to put our negotiating experience to work. The result? Our buyers are moving forward with additional work being completed before closing, stronger warranty protection, and a price they feel great about.

And this is a great example of why it can be a really good time to be a buyer. There are opportunities in the market, and sellers and builders can be more willing to negotiate, but you need to know where the leverage is and how to use it.

Getting an offer accepted is just the beginning. Our job is to continue fighting for our clients and making sure their interests are represented throughout the entire transaction.
