BOOZE & BYRD Properties-Land,llc was contacted in 2018 by the seller to purchase the property located at 110 N. Missouri. The seller was incarcerated and the property was tied up in a certain legal entity that made things even more complex! The sellers would sign contracts, then ghost me. Get back in touch, sign a few more documents to get the property out of the legal entity, then cease all communication. They reached back out, I agreed to pay twice the amount of the original contract just to get this building. They signed more contracts, then change their mind again. The whole time, I've had possession of the building, keeping it secure as best I can, and Undercutz Lawn Service Mowed the grass to keep the city from mowing and racking up fees and fines. After 8 years of the sellers shenanigans, thousands of dollars spent on attorney fees for breach of contract, we are the legal owners of 110 N. Missouri Ave! The future home of B & B Battery Co, The Neat Locker climate controlled storage facility, Suds & Duds laundromat. In 2k19 the bright idea of a shower program and laundry program for those in the community that are experiencing tough times called "Shower you with compassion" and "Loads of Love". I figured why stop there, since I planned on a storage facility, why not start a program to help people facing eviction store their belongings there for a period of time so they dont lose everything. I'll come up with a catchy name later.😉
