Sometimes things just happen. A good friend reached out and said he was ready to start buying investment properties, and of course I was all in. The crazy part? That same week, my wife had a seller reach out looking to make a move.

Every now and then the stars line up, and when something is tailor-made, you turn the double play right up the middle.

Huge shoutout to everyone involved in making this one come together. Real estate is always a team effort, and I’m excited to see how this investment works out. Here’s to the first of many!

This one was special, y’all!

My very first closing, and it feels incredible to have had the opportunity to help them through this journey.

We traveled a lot of miles, had a few adventures, and I think we even found where the banjo music comes from. 🎻😂 We even heard “no” more than a few times, but they never gave up.

Their determination paid off, and I was lucky enough to be along for the ride.

Thank you for trusting me through one of the biggest decisions of your life, and thank you for being a great friend. Congratulations on your new home—I couldn’t be happier for you!

Phone calls, text messages, and emails. Without them, most of us wouldn't know how to function through our day.

Now think back before any of those existed. Would you have been able to do your job? What was life like before we all carried a Google machine around in our pockets?

Life was simpler, but it was also a lot harder. If your car broke down, you couldn't watch a 30-second video telling you how to fix it. If you needed directions, you had to unfold a map the size of your dining room table. And if you accidentally folded it back wrong... well, that map was ruined forever.

These days, we can watch one YouTube video and suddenly convince ourselves we're electricians, plumbers, mechanics, and financial advisors. The confidence is free... the repairs usually aren't.

Buying or selling a home is no different. Sure, the internet can answer a lot of questions, but it can't negotiate on your behalf, spot problems before they become expensive mistakes, or guide you through contracts and deadlines that can cost you thousands if handled incorrectly.

So why take on one of the biggest financial decisions of your life armed with a few Google searches and a comment section full of strangers?

Trust a professional who's been through the process countless times. You'll spend less time guessing, less time stressing, and a lot more time celebrating when you get the keys or hand them over.

Because when it comes to real estate, "I watched a video on it" isn't exactly the strategy most people want for one of the biggest investments they'll ever make.

It’s been a little quiet on here lately, but trust me… it’s been anything but quiet in real life.

The last couple months have been absolutely nonstop — showings, closings, conferences, continuing education to better serve our clients, and somehow even buying another house ourselves in the middle of it all. On top of that, we haven’t missed a single baseball game during our son’s freshman season.

To say we’ve been living on the road lately would be an understatement. These gas prices are definitely reminding us just how many miles we’ve been putting in chasing dreams, deals, and baseballs.

Now summer is officially here, which means even more showings, more closings, more late nights, and of course… more baseball. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Huge thank you to every client, lender, title company, contractor, agent, friend, and family member who’s been part of this crazy season with us. We’re incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people.

We’ve got a lot more coming. Let’s keep this thing rolling all the way through 2027. 🚀

Perseverance, resiliency, and plain old hard-headedness. After losing out on 2 offers well above asking price, these buyers stuck to the game plan and refused to lose. Funny enough… it’s always the ones they didn’t even want to look at!!! But the second we walked through that front door, I knew they had found the one.

Big congratulations to my buyers for getting this beautiful lake home under contract! Huge shoutout to Jill M Shinn for having the perfect lake house listing.

Now we just need some sunshine and a martini on that deck!!!
