What an absolute honor it was to hand out the 2025 Rookie of the Year Award at our West Central Association of Realtors® General Membership Meeting!

A huge congratulations to Ryan Peck of Midwest Land Group! Ryan, you are absolutely crushing it, and this recognition is so incredibly well deserved. Welcome to the club! 🥂

Holding that award handed me a major reality check, though. Exactly 10 years ago, I was standing in Ryan’s shoes, accepting the 2015 Rookie of the Year Award. 🤯

Aside from wondering where an entire decade just went, looking at the two awards side by side made me realize one thing: WCAR’s trophy budget has definitely went up. Let’s just say they’ve gotten just a little bit fancier over the last ten years! 😉🏆

In all seriousness, being able to pass the torch to the next generation of real estate rockstars as WCAR President is a moment I won't forget.

It’s official, the Shiney family has closed one chapter and is onto the next 🤍

I first met Dan and Joyce six years ago when they purchased this home, and it has been so special watching them become such a big part of our community over the years.

Now they’re off to enjoy retirement, spend more time with family, and chase grandkids full time 😊
