6:55 p.m. Friday, June 19

State Route 89A is closed in both directions from Sedona to Interstate 17 (mileposts 374-397) due to a brush fire. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.

There is no estimated time to reopen the highway.

Advocacy is one of the most important ways REALTORS® serve — by speaking up for property rights, fair housing, homeownership, and stronger communities.

This week, I was grateful to be in Washington, D.C. representing the Sedona Verde Valley Association of REALTORS® alongside fellow Northern Arizona REALTOR® leaders. We appreciated the opportunity to meet with Chief of Staff Craig Smith from U.S. Representative Eli Crane’s office and share important housing priorities from across our region.
