I’m excited to share that I was recently featured by Providence Business News to discuss the Rhode Island real estate market and where I believe our local housing market is headed.

It was also an opportunity to reflect on a career that has now spanned more than 20 years and on the 15 years since my husband and I founded The Mello Group in 2011.

Since then, our team has helped buyers and sellers complete more than 2,000 real estate transactions representing over $1 BILLION in sales throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Those numbers mean a lot to me, but what means even more is the trust behind them - the clients who have come back to us, referred their friends and family, and allowed us to guide them through some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

In my conversation with PBN, we talked about what I’m seeing in the Rhode Island housing market right now, why pricing and property condition matter more than ever, how different price ranges are behaving, new construction and development, AI in real estate, and what I believe is ahead for our market.

One thing remains constant: real estate is incredibly local.

The strategy for selling a home in Seekonk may be different from Bristol, Barrington, East Providence, Swansea or Rehoboth - and even within the same town, the buyer pool can change considerably depending on the property and price point.
