CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS, WE NEED YOU!

After an extended meeting with our league board members last night, we've roughly estimated that the Lanesville Youth League is facing damages in the range of $600,000 - $750,000. This 'ballpark' figure was established with the assumption that a lot of materials are not salvageable and will need replacement. More will be known once cleanup of debris has occurred and industry experts are able to assess properly.

A link to donate towards LYL repairs is being set up and will be sent out later this week.

FLOOD CLEAN-UP - In order to clear all the debris, we're hosting league cleanup on Thursday, June 18th @ 5pm, and on Friday, June 19th @ 5pm (If needed or postponed Thursday due to weather). We are not in need of any more heavy equipment and machinery at this time. Please bring gloves, rakes, pitchforks, square point shovels, wheelbarrows, 5-gallon buckets, and leaf blowers.

There will be sign-in sheets and parking directions when you enter and board members at each field directing volunteers. The Lanesville Eagles Boys’ Basketball team will be serving a true ballpark dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, and french fries from our concessions stand to our volunteers those nights.
