A full-size, dining-room-worthy chandelier hanging over the toilet?

Apparently, also yes. 🤣

If you spend all your time looking for what's wrong, you'll always find it.

I was showing a house with a yard that had definitely seen better days.

Overgrown. Neglected. Lots of work to do.

But tucked away in the middle of it all was this little painted rock.

It would've been easy to walk right past it, but it made me smile.

I think that's true in life, too. We can spend all our energy focusing on what's broken, or we can notice the little reminders that there's still beauty, kindness, and hope to be found.

Today, I chose the painted rock. 💜

One of my favorite spaces in this home isn't the kitchen or the living room...

It's this screened porch.

I can picture morning coffee before the day begins, dinner with friends on a cool Florida evening, watching a summer thunderstorm roll through, or simply ending the day with a good book and the ceiling fan overhead.

The best part?

The next owner gets to decide what this space becomes.

Okay...help me settle a debate.
