Construction Progress Update!

Some exciting exterior progress at the
Van Sanford Apartments in Seminole, OK!

Historic window restoration is nearly finished and ready for the new storm windows.

We’re especially excited about the entrance overhangs. Bringing back the original stucco look made such a difference.

Seeing the original brick roof parapet walls restored is so cool.

It’s pretty exciting to see more of this building’s original character coming back to life!

Shout out to Superior Commercial Roofing for the new TPO roof installation. Between the tornado and years of neglect, this building shouldn’t have made it. It’s a testament to the quality of the work and materials they used in 1929, that this building still stands. We’re proud that we’re able to save it for another century. Also our amazing GC, Luke Martin with RGB3 in Seminole. They’ve been amazing to work with and done a great job coordinating all the subs and work being done.

Masonry restoration in progress.

The parapet wall and tuck-pointing work is looking great! For those that cant tell, thats because the work is that good. 🙂

If you look closely, several courses of brick have been relaid at the top and Tommy Ellis worked magic by finding an exact match of historic brick.
