Not 1, but 2 listings under contract to end the month of August! Both homes had above average activity and spent well below the average days-on-market. Properties have been moving a little slower recently, but a well presented home and thoughtful pricing strategy can break through and reach the right buyers. Congratulations to my out-of-state buyers for closing on this wonderful home in Newnan! When this home first came on the market, despite a really strong offer they lost out to another buyer. So when the opportunity came for another chance at it, we were ready to go and got it under contract right away! We were able to close in just over two weeks, and they're walking in with immediate equity which is tough to do in this market. My first closing this year was in downtown Hawkins, aka Jackson, GA! Jackson has a beautiful downtown and it was nice to walk through and see some familiar sights from the not-so-big screen.
