Clallam County Emergency Management is hosting a Community Wildfire Resilience Workshop on Monday, May 11, from 5:30–8:30 p.m. at the Port Angeles Library (Raymond Carver Room).
Learn about local wildfire risks, defensible space, Firewise practices, fire‑resistant landscaping, and the health impacts of wildfire smoke.
This event also marks the public rollout of the Community Wildfire Protection Plan, created with input from multiple local agencies. Informational handouts and preparedness resources will be available.
