Selling your home in the winter time can present some unique challenges, especially when you wake up on open house day to snow, ice or that always-fun “wintry mix.”

Here’s how to make your home shine, even with two feet of snow outside!

-Clear the walkways and driveways to ensure potential buyers can get to and from your home
-Don’t forget to open curtains and blinds to let the sun in so they can see why you have loved your home.
-Cozy up the living room with blankets, throws, and neutral pillows.
-Bake cookies for potential buyers to enjoy during showings — there’s no shame in slice and bake! (it will also make your home smell amazing).
-Make sure there are doormats at entryways to keep floors clean and use light-colored rugs to brighten up the space and reflect natural light.
