COLD WEATHER REMINDER:
As the temps dip below freezing each night I ask that you take a minute to protect your home.

Disconnect hoses: Disconnect and drain outdoor hoses and shut off outdoor faucets. Winterize your sprinkler system.

Protect pipes: Wrap pipes in unheated areas, such as basements and crawl spaces, with insulation.

Prevent freezing faucets: Let faucets drip slightly, especially those on exterior walls.

If you are going to be away for a few days or more set your heat to no less than 55°F and open your doors for sink cabinets to keep them from freezing, and have a neighbor or relative check your home.

I have seen many cases where these tips would have helped prevent disaster. Stay safe this winter.
