Today, we mourn the loss of a true East Tennessee icon and a dear friend to our community, Dolly Parton. ❤️

Dolly was so much more than a legendary singer and songwriter. She was a beloved part of the Smoky Mountains, a champion for the people and places she called home, and a source of kindness, joy, and inspiration to generations.

Here at Little Valley Mountain Resort, we are deeply saddened by her passing and grateful for the countless ways she helped make our corner of Tennessee special.

Her music, her generosity, and her unmistakable spirit will live on in the mountains she loved so dearly. ❤️

Our hearts are with Dolly’s family, friends, and everyone across Tennessee and beyond who is mourning her loss today.

Rest peacefully, Dolly. You will always have a place in the Smoky Mountains. ❤️
