“The Gathering Place” has 2 king bedrooms, a private king loft bedroom and rec/movie room, with 3 full bathrooms and sleeps up to 10 comfortably. It is the perfect size for a few couples to getaway or a family vacation. The master suite, located on the main floor has a comfortable and beautiful locally crafted pillowtop king bed and a large romantic whirlpool bath tub. In the winter, you can wake up to beautiful snow capped trees right outside the window next to the bed or relax in large the whirlpool bath tub while watching the snow fall. It is spacious and has beautiful rustic handmade furniture,huge dressing mirror and a comfy chair to relax in. It also has a private full bathroom. Upstairs, the private loft offers a handcrafted king bed with pillowtop mattress and full private bathroom as well as a fooseball table and a flat screen tv for entertainment. It also boasts beautiful large windows to take in the serene views. The living room is cozy and inviting. It is on the main level and you can sit and relax in front of the beautiful gas fireplace made from local river rocks or enjoy a movie night from the comfortable couch and loveseat. On the 50 inch flat screen TV loaded with Amazon Fire stick, to watch all your favorite shows or movies. The large windows give you a view of the scenic outdoors no matter what season you come. You are nestled in the trees. You will really get to experience being in the Smoky Mountains up close. There is a fully equipped kitchen for those nights you stay in and enjoy the cabin. The kitchen area has room for 4 to eat or just sit and keep the chef company. Even in the kitchen you can see the outdoors. The window over the sink lets you view the front porch or the front property which is landscaped beautifully and maintains the natural setting of the Smokies. Sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch off the kitchen. The gorgeous sunroom/dining room is surrounded by 3 huge windows. You literally feel like you are eating among the trees. It can easily seat 6 to 8 people on the beautiful farm dining table. That was hand made by a local family. The main deck, just one of two, is just as welcoming as the inside. It has a grill and hot tub,rocking chairs and a picnic table which make the outdoor space just as wonderful and inviting as the inside. You can enjoy a soak in the hot tub, fire up the grill and spend the afternoon relaxing in the rocking chairs – all while taking in the peaceful, wooded views. The Smokies offer a beautiful climate no matter what season you visit. The 2 large decks offer even more living and entertainment space. The downstairs rec/movie room is spacious and comfortable. It has a regulation size air hockey table. A Pub table for family game nights. Or have a movie night on the 50 inch flat screen while snuggling in on the large comfy pull out sofa. For the the kids or the kid in you, we offer several video games for all ages for the Wii system. Mario Kart, Guitar hero just name a few. Access to bottom deck and yard with porch swing and rocking chairs. Off of the rec room is another comfortable bedroom with private bathroom. It has 2 beautiful wood twin beds,a flat screen smart Tv. access to the bottom deck and yard and views of the beautiful woods. Coming in the spring, Out in the yard we will offer a cosy fire pit to roast marshmallows or just enjoy the outdoors by a crackling fire. Play a game of horse shoes in the yard or sit in the chairs or the outdoor swing and listen to the wild life.
