Yes, both Bearfoot Paradise and Bearfoot Adventure have bears. When you book your stay at one of our cabins you will know exactly what to do or not do when it comes to Smoky Mountain black bears. Fear is not part of the equation, but respect is what it's all about. Share if you care as much as we do.

If you have a favorite bear photo that you took during your stay, feel free to comment and tell us about your experience.

The old saying, "A fed bear is a dead bear" is even more true today. Don't forget about the $250 fine and felony charges against feeding a bear. That law went into effect on July 1, 2026. If you would like to know more about this Tennessee law, just ask and I will get you the information.
