When I was pregnant with my son, my father-in-law offered to train me to be a real estate appraiser. This position worked out great for me as I was able to take my kids with me on inspections and then work on the reports at home while they napped or played or whatever. When the housing market crashed and things changed for appraisers, I went back to work full time running 6 health clubs. Although

I was very good at my job and liked the work that I was doing, it just wasn't where I wanted to be. So I went back to school to obtain my real estate license to be in the field that I really enjoy working in. Although my kids are now pr***en and teenagers, they still enjoy going with me to look at houses. I think they get as excited as I do when I see something cool or unique in a home that we can change in our home. This drives my husband crazy, but he's a good sport about it. One of the most satisfying things in my life is being able to help someone find their dream home or their starter home. The look of joy and excitement on their faces after settlement would be payment enough...if I didn't have actual bills to pay.

ATTENTION RESIDENTS:

South Jersey Gas is preparing to begin the next phase of construction on the 16” Woodbury pipeline in Washington and Monroe Townships. This phase of the work will be on Pitman Downer Rd (CR 658) between Greentree Rd and Fries Mill Rd. Work will begin this Monday, October 20th with a road closure and detour in effect on Pitman Downer from Greentree Rd to Fish Pond Rd.

We have been working directly with the Transportation Department at Washington Twp Public Schools and will be providing access for buses and student drop-off for Orchard Valley Middle Schools from the Fish Pond Rd side of the project.

As before, SJG will be providing an email update each week with work areas and detours outlined for the following week.
