I just have to say… Africa showed up BIG for this World Cup. ❤️🌍⚽

DR Congo, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Morocco, and Egypt are absolutely breaking the internet with their sass, class, and style. Their arrival outfits were spectacular, they turned the airport into a runway.

My favorite part wasn’t just the fashion, but the custom designs, cultural touches, and the pride with which they represented their countries.

And then DR Congo goes out and earns a hard-fought draw against Portugal. 🇨🇩

It’s been incredibly heartwarming to watch.

Wishing every team a great tournament and an unforgettable World Cup journey. ❤️🌍⚽

⚡️ Tesla’s Coil ⚡️

Standing here listening to Tesla’s coil crackle and spark, I couldn’t help but think about the power of imagination.

Invented by Nikola Tesla in 1891, a Tesla coil converts ordinary electricity into extremely high-voltage, high-frequency electrical energy. The spectacular lightning-like arcs and “zapping” sounds happen when that electricity jumps through the air.

Tesla dreamed of a world where electricity could be transmitted wirelessly—without power lines stretching across the landscape. While that dream was never fully realized, many of the technologies that power our modern world were built on the foundations of his work.

This particular Tesla coil has been a beloved exhibit at the Griffith Observatory since 1937, amazing generations of visitors with its electrifying demonstration.

Sometimes every great breakthrough begins with someone daring to ask:

“What if?”

Only in Shadow Hills, California. 🤍🦚

While out for my evening walk, I was greeted by an unexpected visitor—an elegant ivory-colored peahen strolling through the ranch as if she owned the place.

Surrounded by wildflowers, white fences, and golden California sunshine, she looked like she had stepped straight out of a storybook.

Moments like these are a reminder of why I love living here. You never know what beauty is waiting just around the corner.
