Daytime Lane Closures: Warrensville Center Road near Farnsleigh Road
Work Begins Wednesday, March 21

Expect traffic delays and lane shifts on Warrensville Center beginning Wednesday, March 21 due to ongoing sewer work in the intersection of Warrensville Center and Farnsleigh.

This work was originally scheduled to take place overnight, but unforeseen soil issues necessitated a shift to daytime work.

Work will take place from 7 am – 7 pm beginning Wednesday, March 21 and will include weekend work on Saturday, March 24. The project is expected to continue through the end of March.

If you must travel through the intersection, expect delays and be aware of lane shifts.

Community Attitude Survey

Understanding why residents choose to live in Shaker Heights and what is most important to them helps to inform the work of the City. This is why we periodically contract with a research company to conduct a Community Attitude Survey. The last such survey was in 2007.

Starting this week, Triad Research Group will conduct a new Community Attitude Survey during the evenings. If you do not have a landline, you may receive a call on your cell phone. You will see a phone number or "BUS RES" may appear on your caller ID. It will not register as "Private" or "Unknown." The call may come from Beachwood.

We hope you will respond to this 12-minute survey, if you receive a call. Your feedback is vitally important to us.

Emergency Pipe Replacement:
Warrensville Center Rd. near Farnsleigh Rd.

Dominion East Ohio (DEO) will undertake an emergency pipe replacement project beginning Monday, October 23 on Warrensville Center near the intersection with Farnsleigh. Motorists should expect delays.

Work will begin in the curb lane on the northbound side of Warrensville Center Rd. and then switch to the curb lane on the southbound side. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained. This will be a five-week project (weather permitting).
