Most buyers start house hunting with a pretty long wish list. Then the search begins, and suddenly you’re balancing location, price, condition and the features you really want.
My advice? Focus first on the things you can’t easily change the location, layout and monthly payment. Paint, flooring and fixtures can always be updated later.
Sometimes the right home doesn’t check every box right away. A little flexibility can open the door to a home you may have otherwise overlooked.
