In just 3 months, our nurse clinic partnership ran 174 blood panels and caught 6 residents quietly dying of liver cirrhosis. Undiagnosed. Untreated. Now connected to real care.

This is what early screening does: it turns invisible crises into treatable ones.

And the ripple effect goes further. Residents reaching green on Access to Mental Health Services jumped to 92%, and Freedom from Addiction to 89% at follow-up.

Faith and science aren't in tension in recovery. Paired together, they work.

Over 18 months, we partnered with the Bridge to 100 Network and the University of North Carolina — with support from the North Carolina Collaboratory — to study what happens when faith-based residential care is paired with real clinical partnership.

The results:

📉 Drop-out rates cut in half — from 40% to 20%
📈 80%+ of participants showed measurable improvement across all six dimensions of wellbeing

This isn't a story we're telling about ourselves. It's a study confirming something we've believed for a long time.

Thirteen years ago, our CEO Josh walked into a 12-bed group home in the middle of a cornfield — not to lead a ministry, but because his own life had come apart and he needed somewhere to put it back together.

The photo on the left isn't easy to look at. That's on purpose. That was Josh, before.

The photo beside it is Josh today with his wife and their three kids, thirteen years into a life he once couldn't have imagined for himself.

He got sober. He committed his life to Christ. He stayed and helped turn that 12-bed home into the program into what it is today.

This week marks 13 years of Josh's sobriety. We wanted to show you what that transformation looks like in real time, for residents walking the same road he once walked. 🙏

This weekend marked our THIRD Family Day of the year. A reunion of residents with their parents, children, and loved ones. Seeing families reconnect and witness their loved one growing stronger in recovery is a moment none of us will forget.

And it couldn't have come at a better time — during National Recovery Month! 🎗️

Recovery is built on community. Thank you to every family who showed up with love, and to every resident continuing to grow. We're proud of you. 🌱
