Public Notice regarding resurfacing near Highlands Glenn Dr.

Beginning at approximately 10am on Tuesday, November 18th, the Town's paving contractor will be commencing work to resurface the street intersection. Work will take two days with surface removal on the first day and repaving on the second. All efforts will be made to minimize the impact to the flow of traffic, but there will be times of very short delays and congestion.

We are so sad to share news of the passing of one of The Highlands first homeowners, Paul Holmberg. Paul was a true gem of a human being. He was kind, funny, hardworking and one of those "jack of all trades" kind of guys! He and his family moved from the neighborhood a few years ago but still resided in Shallotte. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

OWNERS FOUND! Do you recognize these dogs? They arrived at a home in The Highlands yesterday likely lost in the storm. Animal Control has been contacted but they were not able to capture these two. Please let me know if they are yours or you know who they belong to.
