As we get ready for a fun and festive holiday weekend, we want to share a few friendly reminders to help keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone:

- Fireworks are strictly prohibited anywhere on The Retreat of Shawnee property, including sparklers, poppers, smoke bombs, snakes, and all other fireworks. With apartment homes, vehicles, and neighbors in close proximity, fireworks create a significant safety risk.

- Please remember that many of our neighbors including veterans, young children, and pets may be sensitive to the loud sounds of fireworks.

- The leasing office will be closed on Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day and will reopen Monday, July 6th. If you experience a maintenance emergency while the office is closed, please contact our emergency maintenance line at (913)-227-4124, extension 3.
