Congratulations to my client on the purchase of his first home! 🏡

It was such a special moment handing him the keys. Buying your first house is a huge milestone and I’m happy I got to help and be a part of it.

This home was newly updated with a beautiful custom fireplace and the brand new appliances were definitely a nice touch!

Congratulations to my client on the successful sale of her home! This one definitely tested our patience. The weather delayed some of the exterior repairs we needed to complete but we made it through and got to close.

I’m happy for the buyer, too. This house is perfect for a first-time homeowner to enjoy and make their own.

Congratulations to my first-time home buyers on their new home! 🏡✨

We toured quite a few homes before ultimately circling back to this one and I’m so glad we did. It had everything they were looking for, with the right amount of space and a large backyard that’s perfect for entertaining, gardening, and making memories with their growing family.

One thing people don’t always see behind the scenes is how much communication goes into buying a home. My clients were incredibly responsive throughout the entire process and always quick to send over documents when needed, even while juggling different work shifts. That teamwork made all the difference.

So happy for this young family and excited for this next chapter for them. ❤️

Time to clean out the house this weekend!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Department of Public Works Large Item Disposal Days Return for Second Year - On May 16, 2026, The Department of Public Works will host its second annual large item disposal days open to all City of Sheboygan residents. From May through October, large item disposal days will take place on the third Saturday of the month at the Municipal Service Building, located at 2026 New Jersey Ave.

Beginning on May 16, parking on the east side of 22nd Street between New Jersey Avenue and Evans Street will be prohibited to allow for efficient traffic flow during the event. The Department of Public Works requests the cooperation of residents in complying with the temporary “no parking” order.

Traffic entering the event will be required to enter the Municipal Service Building parking lot from the west, using Virginia Avenue from S. 22nd Street. Please be prepared to provide proof of City of Sheboygan residency. The Department of Public Works organizers have complete authority to reject commercial loads, loads originating outside the City of Sheboygan, and any item on the list of items not accepted. Traffic exiting the event will be required to do so from the south, on New Jersey Avenue. A detailed diagram of the event site plan has also been included.

To ensure there is adequate time to unload your vehicle, residents must be in line by 12:30 p.m. Vehicles arriving after this time may be turned away.

If in the case of inclement weather (potentially severe in nature), the collection event may be cancelled or closed early for safety reasons.

The large item disposal days are intended to assist residents in disposing of large waste items, thereby promoting cleaner and safer neighborhoods. Before disposing of your large items, consider donating items in good condition to friends or local charities.

Items Accepted:
• Bagged or boxed trash
• Household furniture
• Mattresses and box springs
• Toys, swings, etc.
• Scrap metal
• Miscellaneous junk

Items Not Accepted:
• Hazardous waste
• Tires
• Construction materials (roofing, drywall, tiles, paint, etc.)
• Freon appliances (refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, freezers, etc.)
• Yard waste (tree branches, brush, leaves, grass, garden debris, etc.)
• Electronic waste (microwaves, TV’s, stereos, computers, printers, DVD players, etc.)

The Department of Public Works is dedicated to providing garbage and recycling resources for ALL City of Sheboygan residents, however proper disposal or recycling of certain items may require the assistance of a private recycling or disposal service.

City of Sheboygan residents are encouraged to utilize the Residential Recycling Center, located at the east gate of the Municipal Service Building, to dispose of the following items:

• Grass clippings, leaves, branches, brush, and yard waste
• Waste/used motor oil (no containers over 5 gallons)
• Cooking oil (no containers over 5 gallons)
• Anti-freeze (no containers over 5 gallons)
• Scrap metal, non-freon appliances, and automobile batteries
