I’ve experienced many Catholic masses in different states and in other counties.

I’ve experienced many Roman Catholic masses from English, Latin, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Polish, Slovakian, Maltese to African and many others I can’t remember.

In the Eastern rite Church, I’ve experienced the Byzantine mass, Syro-Malabar mass, Syriac mass, Arabic mass and of course the Chaldean mass.

I’ve been to Israel, the place where Jesus was born, raised, crucified, and was resurrected. The pilgrimage I went on, I remember celebrating mass at the wedding at Cana. I’ve been to Italy where the papal mass was celebrated, I’ve been to Iraq where Bishop Shaleta celebrated mass.

I’ve been to many others countries celebrating mass, HOWEVER…. something powerful happened to me on this holy grounds at the Chapel of the Holy Cross when the Chaldean hymn to St. Peter was sung after receiving communion, the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ from Fr. Peter.

I, immediately realized that I was celebrating mass on a rock. Scripture tells us, that Jesus gave Saint Peter the first pope of the Catholic Church, the keys to the kingdom of heaven and having Fr. Peter celebrate mass at the chapel of the Holy Cross gave me so much more emphasis on what was happening and I was reflecting on the Bible.

I pray that what I experienced, everyone can one day come to know Jesus with their whole mind, heart, body and soul. I pray for everyone’s conversion to experience a true, genuine, authentic, love for Jesus Christ!

I’m just a woman living in a world of good and evil, surrounded by people with either pure or impure intentions.

Exactly a year ago today, Thursday April 21, 2022 I challenged myself to attend daily mass. Despite my shortcomings and temptations I got up and went to either see Jesus or receive him in the Holy Eucharist. I’m in no way saying I’m better than anyone because I’m just a sinner trying to be saved by Gods grace, forgiven by the blood of Jesus and embraced by His Love.

Out of 365 days I can count on one hand of missing mass daily. Although there were moments of confusion, thinking that you can justify a behavior, the spirit of the Lord said within me, although you are weak and you have fallen repeatedly, get up and ask for forgiveness but don’t you stop receiving me in the Eucharist.

Today, I celebrated my one year anniversary of attending mass daily with the exception of missing about five days in total in a new state. A state where I’m truly in the desert trying to find myself in Christ.

“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

This scripture verse clearly states how God had bigger and better plans for me to reach and touch His people.

Isaiah 55:8-9 says, ✝️
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

In other words, God foresaw a bigger plan in mind than I could have imagined. All my degrees from receiving a Bachelors to obtaining my Masters has helped me not be a realtor, but build relationships with people in Real Estate!!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE how I’m making a difference in people’s lives!!

Can’t wait to see this movie!

I was so happy and geeked to meet Mark Wahlberg in person. He was so simple and I love the fact that he’s wearing a rosary around his neck. He’s not only Catholic by name, but he’s Catholic by faith and the more I knew about him, the more his faith inspired me. Thanks Mark!!
