There are moments in this ministry that remind me why we do what we do.

Behind every person who walks through our doors is a story. A life that may have been filled with hard seasons, disappointments, and moments when they wondered if things could ever change.

But I believe God brings people to us for a reason.

We get to meet them where they are, love them where they are, and remind them that their story is not over. Sometimes what someone needs most is simply a safe place, a listening ear, and someone willing to say, believe there is more for you.

That’s what Hope & Love Rescue Mission is about.

Not just providing a place to stay, but creating a place where people can find hope, experience love, and begin again.

Sometimes you think you have everything figured out… and then you end up with a tire in the back of your truck.

But sometimes those unexpected moments remind us of something bigger. We can prepare, we can make plans, and we can do our best to be ready, but ultimately, we have to trust the One who already knows what’s ahead.

We may not know what tomorrow will bring, or who God will place in our path, but we can trust that He has a purpose in every moment. Our calling is simply to be faithful, to be willing, and to say yes when He gives us an opportunity to serve.

That’s what we’re striving to do at Hope & Love Rescue Mission: to be ready when someone needs hope, to meet people with love, and to trust God with the outcome. 💛
