The housing market stayed balanced in October, with mortgage rates dipping to 6.19% and the national median home price holding at $412,000. Homes spent about 48 days on the market, signaling that buyers are still making moves despite seasonal slowdowns.
Locally, Western NC mirrored those national trends — steady sales, consistent pricing, and healthy demand across all three counties. Cleveland led the region in closed sales, Rutherford saw balanced movement across price ranges, and Polk continued to anchor the higher-end market.
As we move deeper into Q4, the local market remains steady, proving that even in fall, there’s still plenty of opportunity for buyers and sellers alike. 🍁
