☀️ 🌿☀️ One of my favorite things about The Quaint Quarters is getting to share Shelbyville with people who may be visiting for the very first time.

This beautiful Lake Shelbyville coaster came from The Wood Shop and was created by a local artist. The visitor guide beside it was put together by people who care deeply about this community. It’s a reminder that the best parts of a town are the people behind it.

Shelbyville isn’t just a place on a map. It’s local businesses, family traditions, summer nights, lake days, small acts of kindness, and neighbors supporting neighbors.

As we head into Summer 2026, my wish is simple:

May the fish be biting.
May the sunsets be beautiful.
May the water be calm.
May old worries stay on shore.
May laughter come easily.
And may the memories made with the people you love be the ones you carry forever.

🎣 Congratulations to all of the anglers who competed on beautiful Lake Shelbyville this weekend!

A special congratulations to the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes on their 1st place finish and to our hometown Shelbyville team for bringing home 3rd place! 🏆🐟

Events like this showcase what makes Shelbyville and Lake Shelbyville so special. From our incredible fishing opportunities to our local restaurants, shops, and lodging, it’s always exciting to welcome teams and families from across Illinois to our community.

We were especially grateful to host several anglers and their families at The Quaint Quarters during the tournament weekend. Thank you for supporting local businesses while making memories on the water.

Safe travels home to all the competitors, and we hope to see you back on Lake Shelbyville soon! 🎣☀️
