Winter storms can roll in fast — a little preparation now can help keep your home safe, warm, and stress-free. Here are a few smart steps to take before the next storm hits:

✅ Protect your pipes
Wrap exposed pipes, disconnect outdoor hoses, and cover exterior faucets to help prevent freezing.

✅ Stock emergency essentials
Have bottled water, non-perishable food, flashlights, batteries, blankets, and a first-aid kit ready to go.

✅ Prepare for power outages
Charge phones/power banks, test generators (if you have one), and keep extra blankets on hand.

✅ Check your heating system
Make sure your furnace is working properly and replace filters so it runs efficiently when you need it most.

✅ Clear gutters + trim weak branches
Blocked gutters can lead to ice buildup, and heavy snow/ice can bring down damaged limbs.
