As many of you know, we lost Debra yesterday morning. She had such a huge heart, and a kind motherly spirit to all. She was such a sassy and hilarious spirit, and she will be so deeply missed. 💔
Please consider a donation to the VanNoy family as they navigate their loss. Anything helps- Debra always gave back and Timmy would give the shirt off of his back to a stranger. It’s with the heaviest heart and utter devastation that our precious Debra passed suddenly yesterday.
Debra was a huge part of us- she managed the schedules, she sent me a list of cleanings at the end of each month for my billing, she did all of the trash accounts on Mondays, she still cleaned - and most importantly she was the MerMaid glue.
She remembered everybody’s birthday and texted first thing in the morning to the group chat. She was the first to text every holiday. On cleaning days where we had a lot on the list, she always texted who was doing what and told us to have a great day and let her know if we needed anything. She would swing by cleanings to make sure everything was going good, she always foresaw issues in the schedule , and she was an amazing friend. She loved her life and her job and her family here in shelter cove so much. If you knew her you knew she was loud, cursed like a sailor and had the biggest heart.
No one could ever replace her in my business- she cared so deeply as if it was her business too. Thank you Debra .
Of course you always wish that you could say goodbye, but I did happen to send her a message the night before she passed telling her how grateful I was for her and all she did, and I was relieved she was back from her vacation because keeping up with her jobs while she was gone was hard. She loved hearing that and I’m so glad it was the last thing I said to her.
I will miss you so much Debra Webra. I will miss your raspy voice, you saying “sh*t ass”, telling me in the sweetest voice to have a crappy day 🤍 , your nicknames for everyone, your care for the community and your family and friends, and our long debrief phone calls where you always said “kiss the kids for me” before we hung up.
Her birthday is coming up on July 10th, and July 4th was her favorite holiday. The month of July will be hard for her family. Sending all of the love to my sweet Timmy (as she called him, skud) and to her son Justin.
