A standing ovation filled the room as Bob Scinto, owner of R.D. Scinto Inc., presented a $5,000 scholarship to Audrey Badia, a senior at Bassick High School in City of Bridgeport, CT, during the Greater Bridgeport Medical Association’s GBMA Physician Awards Ceremony & Scholarship Dinner.

This fall, Audrey will begin nursing school at Sacred Heart University in Town of Fairfield, CT, taking the next step toward a future in healthcare and service to others. Pictured with Audrey and Bob are Dennis Williams, MD, of Hartford HealthCare and Valerie Brutus, MD FACS, of St. Vincent's Medical Center.

The mission of the Greater Bridgeport Medical Association is to help inspire and support future healthcare professionals, and Audrey is a shining example of that mission in action. Massive congratulations to Audrey on winning the 2026 R.D. Scinto Scholarship Award! 🎉🙌🎈 Meeting Audrey last night made it clear that she is an incredibly intelligent, well-spoken young lady who will go far in life. We wish her luck as she goes on to study nursing at Sacred Heart University in the fall!!

#1 - We are so absolutely lucky to have tenants who share in the sense of community and care we strive to uphold at R.D. Scinto.
