Your weekend plans just got a tiny homeowner to-do list! A few of us caught up on our summer plans and ideas and wanted to share in case you needed a reminder, too!
Summer is a great time to give your home a quick check and catch the little things before they turn into bigger projects.

This weekend, take a few minutes to:
🍂 Clear debris from gutters
💧 Check outdoor faucets for leaks
🌿 Clear dry vegetation and debris near your home
🔥 Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
🔨 Check decks, stairs and railings for anything loose or damaged

You don't have to tackle a huge home improvement project every weekend. Sometimes a quick walk around the house is all it takes to spot something that needs attention.

This morning, 75% of the proceeds from our Annual Installation Dinner Auction were presented to Olympic Middle School by MCAR's 2026 President Michelle Michelle Himlie - Windermere Himlie Inc , Vice President/2027 President-Elect Krisy Henry , Secretary Tara Phillips , and 1-Year Director Tamre Parham .

MCAR is honored to have the opportunity to expand our outreach within our local schools and support those in need throughout our community. The staff at Olympic Middle School are truly amazing people who make a positive difference every day.

We are grateful for this partnership and look forward to working together in the future to continue supporting our community and touching as many lives as possible!

A group of our Members met yesterday for our Annual Cemetery Cleanup day at the Shelton Memorial Park , just in time for Memorial Day!
This respectful and surprisingly satisfying headstone refreshing is always such an enjoyable day!
Thank you to the Shelton Memorial Park for hosting us, and to our volunteers! 🎉
