🚶♀️ On Saturday morning at 9:30 AM, join the community for the inaugural Pedestrian Awareness Walk as we come together to support safer streets and a safer downtown for everyone. This easy, approximately 2-mile walk begins at the Historic Sheridan Inn , heads south down Main Street, and loops back at Burkitt Street. Open to everyone—because every crosswalk holds someone’s loved one.
🎭 Don’t miss the Met at the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center presentation of Frida and Diego, a visually stunning opera inspired by the passionate and complex love story of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Featuring beautiful music, vibrant storytelling, and imagery inspired by the Day of the Dead, this magical-realist production brings the iconic artists’ story to life in an unforgettable way.
