The Chamber welcomed new member and business Java Moon Station with an Ambassadors' ribbon cutting on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. Java Moon Station, located at 1935 Coffeen Ave., is a sister location to the downtown Java Moon coffee shop. Java Moon Station is owned by Megan Cook and Kris Dahl. Java Moon Station offers made-from-scratch bakery items, coffee drinks, homemade breakfast and lunch sandwiches, smoothies, acai bowls, Italian sodas and energy drinks and features both dine-in, take-out and a drive-thru. While all standard transactions require important title clearance efforts, difficult transactions require even more substantial work to correct complex title issues before closing. In 2023, title insurance companies estimated 36% of transactions were in this more difficult category.
