Sheridan Police Department has released the following in regards to an alleged kidnapping that occurred this morning. Authorities are still looking for the suspect.

On today’s date at approximately 10:00 am, an officer with the Sheridan Police Department responded to an alleged kidnapping that ended on S. Rose in Sheridan. The officer confronted the suspect at which time the suspect fled on foot, possibly armed. The victim was released unharmed. With assistance from Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, a perimeter was set in an attempt to apprehend the suspect. Dogs with the AGFC and ADC have attempted to locate the suspect but the suspect remains at-large. The suspect is Guy Young from Jefferson County.

I have three apartments available, one of which is a downstairs unit. However, these units are being renovated so it will take about two weeks before one is ready for move in. If interested, please stop by the office for an application or click the link below for the online application. If the application is approved you can put a deposit down to hold the apartment.
Deposit $500
Application fee.$35
Rent $620 (12 month lease)
No dogs allowed!
Cats acceptable with pet deposit
