In case you missed it — exciting progress is happening around Bois d’Arc Lake! 🌳🌊

It’s official: a new Future Land Use Map has been approved, providing an updated vision for future growth around the lake. This plan helps focus commercial development along major corridors, protect our rural farmland, and proactively plan for infrastructure and emergency services as Fannin County continues to grow.

This marks the first major update to the comprehensive plan in a decade and is a huge step forward for the future of Bois d’Arc Lake.

We’re also kicking off conversations about a potential Bois d’Arc Lake Park! What would you like to see?

The next Fannin County Lake Economic Development Committee (FCLEDC) meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 5:30 PM, and for the first time, the public will have the option to attend in person or virtually via Zoom!

Small town Saturdays done right ☀️ You still have until 1 PM today to check out the Honey Grove Farmers Market and support so many amazing local vendors and small businesses right here in Fannin County!

We snagged some hot salsa from Southern Spice Salsa , fresh jalapeño & cheese sourdough bagels, and the cutest hand painted Texas sign by Mrs. Kimberly Reese Slagle with Bless Your Heart— our sweet Betty is already a big fan of it too 🐾🇨🇱

After the market, we popped down into town for breakfast at Juniper Kitchen - Bonham and it did not disappoint! The avocado toast, yogurt parfait, custom breakfast options, plus the amazing Summer Flight featuring fresh breads from Taylor Stafford Sourdough & Co. were all incredible.

Huge shoutout to all the hardworking vendors and local businesses pouring back into our community every weekend. If you have not been out lately, Honey Grove is absolutely worth the trip! Honey Grove Chamber of Commerce

What a meaningful weekend for C4 Home and Land Team. 🖤

On Friday, we were honored to attend the 3rd Annual Empower Her Luncheon at Legacy Ridge Country Club hosted by Community Well Texas. We had the opportunity to meet so many incredible women & members of our community, hear from keynote speaker Montie Carol Montgomery, and watch the presentation of the Libby Award to an inspiring young mother. Huge credit to Stephanie Chandler and the entire Community Well TX team for the work they continue to do expanding mental and behavioral health services throughout Fannin County. During Mental Health Awareness Month, we are proud to stand behind organizations creating real impact in our community.

This weekend we also had the opportunity to support the Fannin County Children's Center at their Green Thumbs, Helping Hands Plant Bingo event in Honey Grove! 🪴 What an incredible turnout supporting local children and families. Big shoutout to the many sponsors and donors who made these events possible including Vector Systems, Credit Union of Texas, Fannin Bank, Legend Bank, Southern Lane Photography, Haywire Homestead & Cake Lane, and so many more local businesses that donated plants, food, raffle items, and support to these causes.

Events like these are a reminder of how special Fannin County truly is. We look forward to continuing to learn more about mental health and wellness resources in our area and finding ways to support and engage our community even further.
